SpectraWatt, Inc. to Auction off Intellectual Property (IP) Associated with Improving Efficiencies in Solar Cells

Hopewell Junction, NY – November 16, 2011 – SpectraWatt, Inc. announced it expects to be auctioning its intellectual property on December 15, 2011.

SpectraWatt expects to conduct a live public auction sale of its IP assets at 11:00 a.m. (Prevailing Eastern Time) on December 15, 2011. The auction will be conducted at the offices of Scouler & Company at 100 Crescent Court, Suite 700, Dallas, Texas 75201, and via teleconference.

Since its inception, SpectraWatt has engaged in substantial research and development in solar cell materials development. As a result of this R&D, along with its initial acquisition of certain intellectual property from Intel, SpectraWatt has the following IP assets to offer at auction.

This compelling technology has relevance not only for the solar industry, but also the semiconductor, LED, lasers & photonics, telecom/datacom, defense/security and others.
